AMBERSWOOD FC PLAYER OF THE MONTH 06-07

Augusts player of the month award goes to PAYAM DOUSTANI not only did he score possibly the goal of the season against Horwich St Mary's and Alexander Crewe, but he also put a couple of goals on a plate for other members of his team.

Septembers player of the month award goes to JOHN WARBURTON who has had good all round performances in every position he has played in and has shown a great attitude every game, his contribution to the team has been invaluable.

Octobers player of the month goes to IAN PORTER who had never lost a game while playing for Amberswood until the game against St Thomas away, but has pulled off some excellent saves and has also assisted in two goals with his accurate long passes.

Novembers player of the month goes to WILLIAM HOEY who has produced some good performances from right back and two excellent performances in goal in our four match unbeaten run.

Decembers player of the month goes to CRAIG GILLIGAN for his brace of goals in the three goals to one victory against second in the table Higher Ince, there really was plenty of contenders for decembers player of the month aseveryone who played that day, put in a tremendous performance.

Januarys player of the month goes to STEVEN BANNISTER for his steady performances throughout the month, when the results did'nt seem to be going so well.

February's player of the month goes to CARL STOCKS who has been in excellent form and unlucky not to win this award in previous months.

March player of the month goes to BEN STOCKS for his performances in the full back position, both defensively and in an attacking sense.

April player of the month goes to DEAN AINSCOUGH for his man of the match performances in all three league games through April.
